Purchase Agreement:

The buyer(s) agrees to obtain from the seller, an English Bulldog puppy for the total amount of $______________. 

The buyer(s) agrees to place a deposit for the puppy in the amount of $______________. 

The deposit reserves the above-mentioned puppy to the above-named buyer(s)and remaining balance of $_____________ is due when puppy is delivered to the buyer.

The buyer agrees to Transport costs of $_____________.
Transport costs are paid directly to transporter listed below and arrangements for pick up and connections are made outside of this agreement between transporter and buyer.

No refunds or guarantees are made if the Buyer is unable to complete this transaction. If buyer cannot complete transaction after placing the deposit, buyer must immediately notify seller.

This puppy is sold as pet only with limited registration and may not be bred.

This Puppy is sold as pet with future option of purchasing breeding rights.

This puppy is sold with full registration and may be bred. All pups are sold as pet quality.

No guarantee is made that the dog will be show or breeding quality. If purchasing with future option of breeding rights, AKC registration will be held by the seller until such time that Breeding rights are requested and paid for. At that time an additional contract will be produced to state that the Seller is transferring all rights and AKC registration the Buyer.

HEALTH GUARANTEE/SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES :

The above-described puppy is in good health and free of communicable diseases at the time Buyer assumes ownership. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 48 hours of receipt of the puppy and must provide documentation from veterinarian of this exam. 

Seller guarantees that Puppy has received age-appropriate medical vaccinations and worming. Seller will provide Buyer with a health chart detailing treatment the Puppy has received under Seller's care and future care Seller feels is essential to Puppy's wellbeing. Seller guarantees that Puppy is free of life-threatening diseases or disabilities for 48 hours after delivery to Buyer. 

Seller guarantees the health of the Puppy for the first 12 months / 1 year of life. Should the puppy be diagnosed with any congenital or genetically derived medical disorder which is considered by two unassociated veterinarians to be life threatening or adversely affect the dog’s quality of life, upon provision of veterinary reports, the Seller will offer one of the following:

 Provide Buyer with replacement puppy of equal quality and value as soon as such a puppy is available to Seller and Buyer will return the unhealthy pup and all documentation/registration to the Seller. (Any costs associated with the return of pup to seller are the buyer’s responsibility).

 Provide another pup as soon as available at reduced price if Seller wishes to keep this pup under this contract.

 Offer to cover partial costs of the specified life-threatening disease, and pup remain in the care of the buyer.

If the examination, required within 48 hours of receipt of the puppy, by the Buyer’s Veterinarian determines that the puppy is not in good health, then the Buyer must notify seller immediately with documentation from buyer’s veterinarian. Seller reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by the seller’s veterinarian at sellers’ cost. Buyer may need to arrange to have the Puppy returned to Seller, for re-examination.

Seller does not guarantee health if pup has acquired disease from environments that buyer has exposed puppy to-including but not limited to parvo, influenza, distemper, kennel cough, or parasitic worms. Seller has given instruction on limiting exposure until pup has been fully vaccinated. 

Any condition that is minor, correctable or a breed related minor condition is not covered, and no condition which could go away, or is a condition in which the puppy will likely grow out of, is not covered. Seller does not accept responsibility for contagious disease diagnosed after 2 days from the date of receiving the Puppy. Heat Stroke, exhaustion, dehydration, and other heat related conditions are not covered in any way. An English Bulldog can overheat quickly and easily and could die as a result of. 

This guarantee does not cover any non-life threatening and/or treatable conditions including but not limited to elongated soft palate, demodicosis, allergies, entropion, cherry eye, or heat related illnesses.

BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 48 hours of receipt of the puppy and must provide documentation from veterinarian of this exam. Please make an appointment prior to picking up your puppy. The Buyer agrees that all transportation costs of the pup, and all Veterinary fees, will be at the cost and sole responsibility of the Buyer.  The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy including, but not limited to vaccinations, internal as well as external parasites, and heartworm preventative medication. Buyer agrees to seek medical attention from an experienced veterinarian when necessary and that the dog will receive an annual checkup and vaccinations.

The Buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as or in part of, an agent in the purchase of this puppy and that the Buyer will not sell this puppy or any of its progeny to any agent, pet store, or puppy mill. Buyer agrees that the dog will not be surrendered to any rescue organization. 

The Buyer agrees that he/she will not sell or rehome this puppy prior to contacting Seller. Seller and Buyer must agree on terms of sale and/or rehoming requirements. 

In the event the dog can no longer be cared for by the buyer in this contract, Buyer will contact breeder to make arrangements for the dog where one of the following will be offered-

 The pup/dog will be returned to the Seller, and seller may offer some portion of a refund depending on the circumstances.

 Seller will assist in finding new home and coordinating transport or pick up of the pup/dog

 Buyer and Seller agree on other terms for a new home for the pup/dog 

The Buyer agrees that the Seller may repossess the animal upon evidence of neglect or abuse at no expense to the Seller, with no refund of any monies to the Buyer.

The Buyer agrees that the puppy will NOT be left alone in a backyard or kennel. The Buyer agrees that the dog will reside inside the home of the Buyer, and have access to a fenced yard, and not be chained or "tied out". If no fenced yard, Buyer agrees that the dog will always be supervised while outside the home. The Buyer agrees that this dog will be kept in a climate-controlled environment.

For Purchases with Breeding rights:

The Buyer agrees that a female dog will not be bred before 18 months of age or prior to the second heat. A male dog will not be used to breed before 1 year of age. If puppy is purchased as pet only (noted on page 2), this dog must not be bred, and will be spayed/neutered no later than age 18 months.

Purchase Agreement Signatures:   

 This Agreement is made and signed by both parties to ensure the wellbeing and protection of the dog. If any part of this Agreement is not maintained, the Seller is released from any further obligations stated in this contract and may repossess the dog if there is evidence of abuse. The buyer or any other person that may have the dog in their possession will return the dog to the breeder including registration papers, and vet records. This animal is sold with the understanding that it was to go to the select home, into the care of the buyer, be socialized properly, and become a member of the family.

The undersigned buyer acknowledges that this is a legal binding contract and has received a copy of this contract. No other contracts or agreements made by buyer, buyers family members, or any other party with interest, will supersede this agreement.
